Separate included and excluded charges
Ask whether the product quote includes packaging, customisation, samples and domestic delivery. Changes in order size or specifications can change the quote. Keep each provider’s currency, validity period and payment conditions visible in your comparison. Do not assume a payment method is available for every account or country.
Use a consistent cost framework
List goods, domestic freight, warehouse handling, international freight, destination charges and other agreed fees. Avoid counting a cost twice if it is already included in a service package. Ask the provider to identify missing items rather than filling the gaps with unsupported percentages.
Confirm what determines the final bill
Collect carton dimensions, gross weight and quantity, then confirm the freight charging basis. A light but bulky product may be charged by volume. Import costs and required documents depend on the product and destination: confirm them with a qualified provider before committing. A planning estimate is not a guaranteed landed price.
